Jobbeschreibung	Your tasks - Adaptation of a strain incorporating non-canonical amino acids - Heterologous expression of a membrane-attached metalloprotein containing non-canonical amino acids - Click-chemistry to attach the protein to a conductive surface provided by our partner group - Protein mass spectrometry and cyclic voltammetry to characterize the constructs - Cooperation with a material science group and many others within the SPP consortium - Presentation of results at international conferences and in scientific journals

Qualifikationen	Your profile - Master's degree in Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Molecular Biology or related areas - Good knowledge of molecular biology, optimally knowledge in heterologous expression, proteomics and/or electrochemistry - Openness to learn new methods - High degree of self-organisation and ability to work independently - Good communication skills in English - Motivation to work in an interdisciplinary team
