The University of Luxembourg is a multilingual, international research University. The University of Luxembourg invites applications for the following vacancy in its Faculty of Science, Technology and Communication. The Laboratory for Energy Materials has an opening for a Postdoc, starting Autumn 2018. We are looking for a candidate with experience in semiconductor synthesis for micro - solar cells.

Ref. F1-50011757 Fixed-term contract 2 years, extendable Full-time (40 hrs/week) Employee status The Postdoc will be responsible for the synthesis of micro thin film solar cells. Micro solar cells are expected to have many applications in the future. The Postdoc will be supervised by Prof. Phillip Dale. He or she will also have the opportunity to advise PhD students and be a key member of a doctoral training unit on advanced photovoltaic concepts being involved with and facilitating collaborations. He or she will be assisted by technical and administrative staff. The Postdoc is expected to act as part of the LEM team.
